Is "Avengers: Age of Ultron" the last "Avengers" movie of Jeremy Renner's character Hawkeye?
Spoilers Alert!
While U.S. fans are still waiting for the film to be shown on May 1, fans leaving in Asia have already seen the movie, thus there is an ongoing speculation that Hawkeye is finally retiring from "Avengers" based on what was seen in "Age of Ultron."
As expected, the movie is packed with action scenes from the superhero characters namely, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye.
But what's surprising is that the movie featured Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye more than what's expected.
Not known to many, Hawkeye already has a family, and his wife who is pregnant and two kids (daughter and son) are all shown in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
While Hawkeye never mentioned anything about retiring, scenes from the movie somehow hinted that he's more than ready to spend more time with his family rather than dealing with all the issues on being an "Avenger."
When the "Avengers" needed a place to stay after Ultron caused havoc in the entire city, Hawkeye offered his place while they try to figure out how to defeat it.
And in a scene where he had to say goodbye to his wife to finally battle Ultron, he said that the battle would be his last and promised her that he will safely return back home.
During the last scenes from the movie, only Captain America and Black Widow were left at the new Avengers headquarters together with Scarlet Witch, Falcon adn War Machine.
While Jeremy Renner has yet to reveal if "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is indeed going to be his last "Avengers" movie, there have been rumblings that he will be coming to Captain America's universe as he is about to appear in "Civil War."
During an interview with MTV, Renner mentioned "Captain America 3," when asked if he's considering a standalone film for his character Hawkeye.
"I'm happy to be the ensemble," Renner assured. "I'm not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means."
Adding, "I think he's a utility guy that can bounce around into other people's universes a little bit, especially like 'Cap 3.'"
