With Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) breakup in place, doors have finally opened up for Michael (Brett Dier) and Petra (Yael Grobglass) to make their moves to get back into their exes' lives. Will Jane and Rafael's breakup become permanent in the "Jane The Virgin" finale?
Although there's only an episode left before the first season ends, a lot can still happen to Jane and Rafael. Another factor that the two parents-to-be have to consider is the baby's arrival, which the writers promised will happen within season one. Will this life-altering event bring the estranged couple together or will it force them apart even more in the "Jane The Virgin" finale?
Michael has been trying to get Jane to realize that he was the man meant to be with her and not Rafael. With the baby daddy (sort of) out of the picture, he finally has the chance to make Jane change her mind.
The synopsis for "Chapter Twenty-One" revealed that he will be inviting Jane to his commendation ceremony. Will Jane fall for her ex-fiance again or will she still fight for Rafael?
According to a previous TVLine update, Petra's feelings for Rafael will reportedly be a "pivotal part" in the story. Now that Rafael's pouring his heart out at the Marbella to tune out his feelings for Jane, Petra will have the best reason to stay by his side. After all, she owns a third of the hotel.
When he tells her that Jane wants to fight for the sole custody of their child, she will reportedly "think she can fix the problem and become the hero."
The love square isn't the only thing that will bring in all kinds of complications for the "Jane The Virgin" finale.
Sin Rostro will also be rearing her (possibly altered head) again.
"You will feel the effects of Sin Rostro by the end of the season, definitely. You will see some of Sin Rostro," "Jane The Virgin" writer Jennie Urman previously teased fans.
