LG G4 vs HTC One M9 Vs Samsung Galax S6; Which Android Flagship Is The Best Choice? Design, Specs And Features Compared

Now that the LG G4 is official, a new threat to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 has arrived. These three phones are pitted down to help you decide which flagship you should purchase.

Design and Screen

LG G4 offers a new flavor in smartphone's design as it boasts an option of leather, plastic and hammered ceramic design on its back plate. It offers a a 5.5-inch screen display, which renders a quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution. It also boasts a quantum LCD technology that features a better color reproduction as it offers higher brightness and contrast among other phones.

As for the HTC One M9, it followed its predecessor's design though there's an improvemnt on its ergonomic design. It has the smallest screen display among the three at 5-inches with 1,920x1,080 pixels resolution with a pixel density of 441ppi.

While the Samsung Galaxy S6 though looks like a conventional phone, offers a premium feel with its front and back glass covering. It offers the same resolution like the LG G4 but offers the highest pixel density of 557ppi.

Performance

The HTC One M9 chooses the top dog 64-bit Qualcomm Snadragon 810 octa-core CPU. But due to the rumored overheating issues of the Snapdragon 810, Samsung chose its own Exynos processor, while LG G4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit chipset and packs a hexa-core processor in a dual-core Cortex-A57 and quad-core Cortex-A53 which LG claims runs better than the Exynos.

All phones are supported by a 3GB of RAM. LG G4 and HTC One M9 has a 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded through an external memory, while Samsung Galaxy S6 has three different storage options of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB but does support external storage expansion.

Camera

LG G4 offers the best camera of a 16MP sensor with f 1.8 lens which gathers 11 percent more light than of Samsung Galaxy S6. Moreover, its rear camera can shoot 104MP Panaroma shots, while its front camera has an 8MP camera which has the ability to shoot videos 2160p like the main camera.

Samsung Galaxy S6 has a 16MP Sony IMX240 sensor with bright LED flash, and its secondary camera is at 5MP. Both cameras have an aperture of f/1.9 for better low light photos.

In comparison, HTC One M9 a 20-megapixel camera, and a 4-Ultrapixel camera on the front.
