Waka Flocka Flame has been all over the news following his public announcement that he will run for the upcoming presidential election.
In line with his campaign, Flame, who's real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, will no longer return to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" show.
"I'm very pleased to announce today on 4/20, the best day of the year, I will be running for president," he said in his interview with Rolling Stone. "The first thing I'm going to do when I get into office is legalize marijuana."
As per VH1, the following are Waka Flocka Flame's "presidential initiatives:"
- Legalization of marijuana - "presidential kush"
- No dogs in restaurants
- No one with size 13 feet + is allowed to walk in public (feet too big, y'all)
- Education (and all the kids have to learn his lyrics, natch)

Meanwhile, Waka Flocka Flame who's working on a new album, reportedly wants out from his music label Atlantic Records. Apparently, the music label is holding back his album title, "Flockaveli 2."
"Sad that my label holding #Flockaveli2 BACK...!!!!! LET ME BUYOUT MY CONTRACT ASAP #AtlanticRecords." the rapper posted on his Twitter.
He also launched a hashtag campaign for the record label to let him go by wanting to spread his tweet,
"Hashtag #LETWAKAGO."
While it's not clear if this is all part of a marketing stint with Atlantic Records, the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star claimed that he "don't want big names" in his new album upon talking to MTV.
And whether or not the delay of his new album has something to do with his presidential bidding, Waka Flocka Flame said that the reason why he haven't been able to release his record was because he "can't get off the road."
"I haven't been in the studio in like nine months," he explained. "I feel like I want to go to every country and touch the people. Let them realize who I am. I'm not just this guy on Youtube. I feel like I accomplished my goal."
Furthermore he explained that while there are reports that his fans would like to hear a mostly EDM album , he thinks that his audience would rather see an "underground Waka."
"I feel like my core fans from the earlier stage of my career," he explained. "They want to hear that rap. They want the underground Waka... People be like yo your fans changed. I'm like no nigga, they've always been here. My fans are the same. It's just now I know how to touch different crowds now and I just want to put it all together. I don't want to say I'm rapping for the Whites or the Blacks or the Mexicans or Indians. I just want to do one style of music and everybody listen to it."
