"Movie 43", a new R-rated comedy featuring Kate Winslet, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Gerard Butler and many more famous actors, debuted last night on Comedy Central.
The red band trailer for the outrageous ensemble comedy doesn't come out until last year but has already been in production since 2010. It looks like it's going to be one crazy ride featuring some serious A-class actors. According to EW, the film is a collection of twenty-five short films all intertwining with each other.
One of the most talked about shorts revolves around Kate Winslet and her blind date with Hugh Jackman, in which a very surprising peculiarity comes forward. "Kate Winslet's on a date with Hugh Jackman, and she finds out he has quite a funny and strange birth defect - during dinner," Peter Farrelly told EW recently, while not disclosing what exactly the birth defect is. "It's a blind date. It's her trying to navigate the waters."
In a funny segment, Halle Berry is seen having dinner and her date dares her to blow out the birthday candles of a blind boy as he celebrates his birthday a few tables over from theirs. Berry does so.
In another clip, Terrence Howard portrays a basketball coach and he tells his all-black team that they will win because they're black and they can defeat an all-caucasian team.
Some of the actors featured include: Halle Berry, Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, Naomi Watts, Kate Winslet, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Faris, Emma Stone, and Jason Sudeikis.
Other notable cast members include, Kristen Bell, Leslie Bibb, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Bobby Cannavale, Kieran Culkin, Josh Duhamel, John Hodgman, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Justin Long, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloë Grace Moretz, Chris Pratt, Liev Schreiber, Sean William Scott, and Uma Thurman.
