There is a new man that can either help or worsen the situation inside Chester's Mill.
Recent "Under the Dome" season 3 spoiler has revealed that Eriq La Salle has joined the CBS TV series based on Stephen King novel of the same name. His role is someone close to Barbie's (Mike Vogel) father Don Barbara (Brett Cullen) who was last season's biggest enemy.
This fresh "Under the Dome" season 3 spoiler was first reported by the Entertainment Weekly. It wrote:
"Eriq La Salle has joined the cast of Under the Dome for its third season, EW has learned.
The ER alum, who previously directed a season 2 episode, will play Hektor Martin, a ruthless CEO of the energy company run by Barbie's father. La Salle will also direct the ninth episode of the coming season."
La Salle will join other series regulars like Rachel Lefevre as Julia Shumway, Barbie's love interest and the main female lead, Dean Norris as James "Big Jim" Rennie, the main villain of the show, Alexander Koch's James "Junior" Rennie, Colin Ford's Joe McAlister, and more.

In a related news, "Under the Dome" season 3 has received greater budget as it received a $5 million grant from North Carolina. Port City Daily reported:
"The popular, locally shot CBS series, "Under The Dome," is getting a boost of $5 million from a state grant.
The grant, which was announced by N.C. Commerce Secretary John Skvarla and the Economic Development Partnership of N.C. on Friday, is part of the newly established $10 million North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grant."
