Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight features two boxers that are completely different from each other.
From lifestyle to the way they are viewed by the public, Pretty Boy and Pacman are like black and white. When it comes to fighting style, these two are also very different from each other. Whose style is going to win them the belt?
Miguel Cotto, who battled both Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao, thinks their respective styles are good but the difference is not on their strategies.
Talking to ESPN.com, the Puerto Rican boxer said X-Factor in the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight is Freddie Roach.
"I think it's going to be a really tough fight. Manny has his advantages. Floyd has his advantages," said Cotto, who lost to both Mayweather Jr. and Pacman.
"But working with Freddie Roach the past two fights, I know what he is capable of doing and I think he is going to get Manny to see Floyd's mistakes and Manny is going to take advantage of them."
When asked who is he rooting for in the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight, he straightly answered, the Filipino fighter.
"I'm rooting for Manny Pacquiao. I think the quickness of Manny is going to have a big impact on Floyd's performance," he said.
"Manny can move from here to there in less seconds than Floyd and that's going to be a big advantage for Manny, [but] Floyd is a strong boxer."
Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight is on May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena and will be officiated by Kenny Bayless.
This bout, dubbed as the fight of the century, is expected to earn $300 million, the highest in sports history, plus profits from pay-per-view, tickets sales, and sponsorship. It will be broadcast both in HBO and Skysports.
