Fans are already gearing up for the "Gilmore Girls" reunion that's happening at the ATX festival in Austin, TX this coming June 4 to 7.
According to Entertainment Weekly, followers of the seven-season show will be able to meet Stars Hollow's residents at the reunion panel that will be presented during the ATX Closing Night.
Several of the old cast members have already been confirmed to join lead cast members Lauren Graham (who played Lorelei Gilmore) and Alexis Bledel (who played her daughter Rory).
According to previous reports, Jared Padalecki (Dean), Scott Paterson (Luke) and Kelly Bishop (Emily) will join the reunion panel.
Keiko Agena (Lane), Liza Weil (Paris), Liz Torres (Miss Patty), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Yanic Truesdale (Michel) and John Cabrera (Brian) will be there as well.
EW also confirmed the attendance of four more cast members recently. Fans will be able to see Danny Strong (Doyle), Todd Lowe (Zach), Jackson Douglas (Jackson) and Matt Czuchry (Logan) at the "Gilmore Girls" reunion.
However, US Weekly noted that two significant people's names are still missing from the list. Melissa McCarthy (who played Lorelei's best friend, Sookie) and Milo Ventimiglia (Rory's bad boy beau, Jess) might be too busy to join the upcoming event.
Ventimiglia will be trying his hand at becoming a villain in "Gotham." He previously told People Magazine that he definitely wants to join his old friends-if his schedule allows him.
"I'd love to, but I just signed on for another movie that hasn't been announced so I'm waiting for my schedule," he shared.
He added that he would love "to be a part of it and to see the old crew and to connect with the fans specifically about 'Gilmore'."
"I know everybody else has signed on, but I just don't know my schedule right now which kinda sucks," he lamented.
With such a positive response from the cast, could this "Gilmore Girls" reunion give birth to a film in the near future?
