Seven years following "Fallout 3," Bethesda is heavily expected to finally announce the official release date of "Fallout 4," during its first conference at E3 2015.
While the giant gaming studio has yet to comment anything about the speculations, Den of Geek is confident that the announcement of the highly anticipated game could happen during the conference.
"We're hosting our first-ever E3 Showcase in Hollywood, CA on June 14th and we've saved some seats just for you, our fans," Bethesda's blog stated. "Feel like a celebrity by attending our most exciting event yet, live and in-person! Keep an eye out - in the coming months we'll be sharing details on how you can register to attend."
Adding, "Can't make it out to LA to join us? Don't worry, we have you covered. On Twitch.TV/Bethesda, you'll be able to tune in on 6/14 and watch every moment live!"
In addition to the announcement, new reports suggest that Bethesda has already sent out invites for the conference hinting details on its games like "Wolfenstein's" BJ Blazcowicz, "Doom's" Cyberdemon, "The Evil Within's" Sebastian, "Elder Scrolls Online" and "Dishonored's" Tallboy, VG 247 reported.
The invite reportedly consists of a "You" card where the characters from the mentioned games are posted.
And while it did not mention anything about "Fallout 4" release date, IBTimes reported that another card was seen with a question mark in it.
"The front row question mark is a hint at fallout 4," a fan claimed. "It's a case of conspicuous by absence. There will certainly be a storm of hatred if they don't reveal it methinks..."
In addition, the official "Fallout" website has changed its artwork where it now features the one that has been used for "Fallout 3," replacing Obsidian's Fallout New Vegas Banner.
It has also been previously reported that Bethesda's previous renewal of the trademark of "Fallout" Pip Boy devices is possible giveaway that the gaming studio is preparing for a "Fallout 4" release date announcement.
Without revealing the release date, franchise designer, Josh Sawyer, previously said that the entire team is working very hard to bring a much improved gaming experience once "Fallout 4" hits shelves.
"A lot of stuff I did in New Vegas was to try and make choices feel more impactful and meaningful and to challenge the player," he said. "Some people want to go through the wasteland like a tourist, which is fine - they don't really want it to be super-difficult. They want it to be interesting and engaging, and they want to see a lot of neat stuff and go through a cool story. And that's cool."
"Personally I like things to be a little more challenging," he added, "And there's a segment of players that also want [that]. I don't have any doubt in this."
Concluding, "I hope Bethesda continues to make everything very mod friendly. How they've worked with the community is... the mod community for Bethesda's games is amazing. I hope they continue to support them because it's really cool."
