The synopsis for the last two weeks of "Gotham" has been released.
While "Gotham" episode guides have pretty much revealed what to expect in the Fox show in its remaining episodes, fans have to reminded that there is still one villain that Gotham City police department should take care of. This villain was not seen in the most recent episode of "Gotham."
Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) was out for a while but in the remaining two weeks, she will return in the grandest and most explosive fashion.
Entertainment Weekly got an exclusive first look on the returning character who will now sport a mohawk hairstyle. What does this change mean for the former mob boss? EW has the "Gotham" episode guide for Fish Mooney.
"Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) will return to town in Gotham's April 27 episode with one goal in mind: "to stake her claim as queen of Gotham," says exec producer Bruno Heller-which explains her regal new look. "Dress for the job you want to have, not the job you have," Heller teases." - EW wrote quoting series developer Bruno Heller.
In the interview, Heller further explained Fish Mooney will set out her plan to reclaim what was used to be hers. It is a great timing for her because she returns at time when other mob boss are in deep misunderstanding.
"Her time away and everything that she's gone through has given her a confidence in herself, and an inner strength," Heller says. "She comes back at a moment of crisis where Faclone and Maroni are in open conflict with each other. She has the possibility of running the whole town."
Of course, one man Mooney will come after is Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), the reason why she suffered and kicked out of her beloved city.
"She's not inclined to show mercy," Heller said adding there will be a 'spectacular face-off with former protégé the Penguin'.
"The conflict between them has been simmering all year, and this is the final showdown on the rooftops of Gotham."
The question is, will she survive the war? Smith revealed months ago she is not going to return to the show for a second season.
The last two "Gotham" episodes are called "The Anvil or The Hammer" on Apr. 27 and "All Happy Families are Alike on May 4.
