"Gotham" episode guide has been released for the two remaining weeks and what's missing is a mention of one of the most favorite Batman villains, the Joker.
The origins of the long-time nemesis of the Dark Knight has been foreshadowed once in the show through a circus employee Jerome (Cameron Monaghan), a kid who killed her own mother and burst out in a Joker-esque laugh after getting caught.
While Cameron's performance and the episode where he showed up received great reviews, the Fox TV series decided to not explore more of "The Joker" in its first season.
People will not get another Joker-centric episodes in the last two "Gotham" weeks but fans should not give up just yet. According to series developer Bruno Heller, there will definitely have more scenes for the diabolically sinister-but-clownish villain in "Gotham" season 2.
"You're not going to see teases of The Joker before the end of the season, because the beginning of Season Two is a big Joker-oriented, or 'how the Joker came to be' kind of story," Heller said in an interview with ComicBook.com.
"The beginning of Season Two is the very earliest origins of how The Joker came to be."
The last two episodes of the Fox TV series will air on April 27 and May 4. Read the "Gotham" episode guide below:
