'Final Fantasy XV' Release Date For PS4 & Xbox One Still Unconfirmed! Demo In 'Final Fantasy Type 0-HD' Earned Positive Reviews

| By

In line with the high anticipation of the official announcement for "Final Fantasy XV" release date, rumors have started popping out.

There has been a report coming from Kdramastars that a source called Cyberland announced that the Square Enix game will be available for PS4 and Xbox One console users in May 2016.

"My sources tell me that it can be confirmed that FFXV will be available on May 2016. Square Enix would use E3 to build hype for the game and they would wait a few more months to get hype boiling similar to what Rocksteady is doing to the Arkham Knight right now," the infamous and highly suspicious source allegedly wrote.

While there has been no actual announcement as to when Square Enix will release "Final Fantasy XV," a demo to the game has been launched together with the newly released "Final Fantasy Type 0-HD."

Following its March 17 release, the game immediately gained success in selling.

"Congratulations, The official Final Fantasy Twitter page stated. "Cumulative shipments of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has surpassed over one million units worldwide."

Meanwhile, the demo to "Final Fantasy XV" has been receiving positive reviews from gamers and gaming sites as well.

"In regards to the Final Fantasy XV demo itself, he [Hajime Tabata] said over 70 percent of players that answered the survey were either "satisfied" or "very satisfied". This is a good sign for Square Enix going forward, but there is also room for some improvements," Attack of the Fanboy said on its review for the demo.

Gaming Bolt on the other hand, commended the superb graphics of the upcoming RPG.

"The first thing you'll notice, aside from the genuine feeling of camaraderie between the characters, is how good it looks," the publication cited.

"Everything in Episode Duscae, from the hair on the characters' heads, to the weapons, the environmental effects and the models for the enemies, is rendered in excruciating detail. What's even more impressive is that, outside of the initial loading time, the game never stops to load or features a segment where the game slows down to process a new area. It's as open and seamless as you can get, and all of it looks beautiful, even if it's not running at 1080p. Yet.

Kotaku believes that the demo to "Final Fantasy XV" is "one of the most fascinating video game demos in recent memory." Citing the ability of the demo to "save your progress."

The publication in a separate review, has noted the superb summon ability that can be used in "Final Fantasy XV."

"You can also get a... certain summon, which you can activate once Noctis runs out of HP and use against just about any outdoor enemy in the game," it said of the demo experience.
