There are just two weeks left before the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight and yet, tickets are yet to be sold in the market.
The mega bout, dubbed as the fight of the century, will take place on May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena. However, up to this day, the public are yet to get their hands on the tickets which reports say will be ten folds more expensive than the ones sold in either of the two boxers' fight before.
"It's bizarre, normally there's a public sale 10 weeks before the fight," said Connor Gregoire, an analyst for Seatgeek.com. "To our knowledge no one has a printed ticket in their hands right now."
The Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight tickets sales is irking fans and no one wants to admit who is at fault. Michael Koncz, manager of the Filipino fighter, said it is Pretty Boy's camp who should take responsibility in this mess because they refused to sign a contract specified for the tickets sale.
"It's a real mess right now," Koncz said according to report by ESPN. "I can only surmise the motivation is greed and an attempt to manipulate the tickets, otherwise why the holdup? I'm more than a little upset they're not for sale to the public."
Koncz also insisted that all of Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight tickets will go on sale and no one will get them free.
"Nobody's getting free tickets," Koncz said. "Even Bob (Arum) has to pay for his ticket in the first row."
Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight tickets will be limited. According to a report by Dog House Boxing earlier this month:
"Here is the good news and bad news. Good news first - Tickets for public consumption are expected to hit the market next week. The bad news - not many tickets will be made available to the public."
