Will Ed Sheeran join "Game Of Thrones" season 6?
It's no secret that the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker is a fan of the hit HBO show but who would have thought that he could have almost been part of the actual production of it?
According to the British singer himself, he could have been an extra on the series if only he weren't a famous singer.
"There were talks ages ago of me being an extra, which could have been cool," the 24-year-old revealed to The Sun in a recent interview.
Unfortunately, being a world-famous singer also has its downside sometimes because "every time they shoot, it's the time I tour in the U.K."
Thankfully, the acoustic star has some upcoming vacation time. Will he try to get a guest appearance in the acclaimed series then?
"I've got that time off this year, so I'm going to hound them," he declared.
If Ed Sheeran does join "Game Of Thrones", he would most certainly become fast friends with the rest of the cast. He's already well-acquainted with two of the Stark children - Robb (Richard Madden) and Arya (Maisie Williams).
According to People Magazine, this won't be the "Bloodstream" singer's first rodeo in the acting department. He just recently filmed together with Australia's "Home And Away."
He also joined the cast of "Sesame Street" for a cameo earlier this month.
Radio pointed out that other musicians coveted a role in the famous series, including Lily Allen (Theon Greyjoy actor Alfie Allen's sister), Coldplay drummer Will Champion and Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody.
Lightbody, at least, was able to land role in the TV show. Sigur Ros was also able to live through an episode of the show.
Do you think Ed Sheeran's "Game Of Thrones" dream will come true next season? And if he does, will he be able to live through it?
