Every year, Time Magazine compiles a list of people who have made a difference in this world including politicians, businessmen, entertainers and more. This year, one of the most controversial people in the world topped Time's 100 Most Influential People list.
Kanye West led the pack this year and Tesla CEO Elon Musk says the rapper and fashion icon knows he "belongs on this list."
"Kanye's belief in himself and his incredible tenacity-he performed his first single with his jaw wired shut-got him to where he is today. And he fought for his place in the cultural pantheon with a purpose," Musk continued in his cover story.
West's significant other, Kim Kardashian West also found a place in the list, as well as feminist and "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson.
Taylor Swift, Bradley Cooper, Reese Witherspoon, Tim McGraw, Julianne Moore, Kevin Hart, Chris Pratt, Lee Daniels, Julianna Margulies, Laverne Cox and Amy Schumer also found a spot in the prestigious list.
