Taylor Swift and rumored boyfriend Calvin Harris have been spotted giving each other PDAs in several occasions including the recent concert of Haim in Los Angeles.
There were even photos of the 25-year-old singer sitting on the lap of the 31-year-old DJ during her BFFs' gig.
They are acting like a couple already to the extent of telling each other what they don't want from their partner. According OK! Magazine, the Scottish record producer has warned the multi-awarded singer not to write songs about him.
The website reported that Harris asked Swift to leave their relationship out of the recording studios.
"It was the white elephant in the room, but it's been on his mind, so he confronted her about it last week, telling her he doesn't want her to do that to him," the insider told the magazine.
Taylor Swift is known for her breakup songs and it seems that Harris isn't fond of those. The "Blank Space" hitmaker has written songs about her ex-boyfriends including John Mayer and Harry Styles.
"The DJ doesn't want to join the ranks of Swift refugee boyfriends who've been humiliated by one of her revenge songs," their source said. Apart from protecting himself from embarrassment, Calvin Harris warned Taylor Swift because he wanted her to become a better artist.
Adam Richard Wiles, which is Calvin's real name, allegedly told Taytay that he thinks she demeans herself as a singer by writing such whiny lyrics.
"He thinks she's an incredible musician who should use her intellect and channel positive energy into her song-writing, versus mundane lyrics about boys," their insider said.
Some people may think that Harris is too harsh on Swift for telling her to improve her songwriting, but he actually means well. Even her friends approve of their relationship including Ed Sheeran. During an interview with ZM Online (via Design n Trend), the "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker admitted that he likes Calvin Harris for Taylor Swift.
"Yeah, I'd give the seal of approval with... there are certain people that are just nice people in the industry," he said. "So, yeah, I met him probably like a year ago, maybe a year and a half, but yeah, good guy, really, really good guy."
