NBC has been working hard to gather the best "Heroes Reborn" cast for the highly anticipated remake of Tim Kring's superhero hit series.
Fans have been buzzing with excitement since the announcement.
What fans of the first show, "Heroes," lament, however, is that only two of the original cast will be reprising their roles for the 13-episode mini-series. It's not all bad though. New, amazing actors have been added to the repertoire and so far, it seems that they will be giving the show a new feel.
Does Milo Ventimiglia, who played Peter Petrelli in the original show, think this reboot will become as big of a hit as the previous one?
"Now that the show is coming back, I think it's going to be interesting to see how the fans react to what is not what they had before. They may not be completely satiated without all the characters they fell in love with," the 37-year-old recently admitted to People Magazine.
Despite the apprehension, he admitted that he's excited for new "Heroes Reborn" cast member Zachary Levi and returning star, Masi Oka (who played time-manipulator Hiro Nakamura).
"When I watch a show, I watch it for the characters. If the majority of them aren't there ... it's going to be different. It doesn't mean that it can't be great," he said. "I'm very excited for Zach and Masi. I wish them all the best."
However, the question on everyone's mind is whether or not Peter Petrelli will be making an appearance in the upcoming series.
According to the "Gotham" actor, it's highly unlikely that the empath would drop by.
"In my mind, Peter Petrelli f-ed off and went somewhere else," he admitted. "He's gone."
Although Milo Ventimiglia won't be joining the "Heroes Reborn" cast, returning star Jack Coleman will be joined by a group of new characters.
