While fans of "Digimon Adventure Tri" are losing hope that it will ever hit the TV screens, new speculations suggest that its official website could actually reveal the anime's release date.
Since spring 2015 Anime season has already started, and no grown up versions of the digital monsters have been shown, fans are speculating that Saban Brans may no longer bring the anime to the U.S. this April.
"Does anyone else have a bad feeling tri might get delayed back later than April? Is it normal for a digimon season to be this close to release without a true trailer or anything?" a Reddit user asked.
However, a good news has been confirmed by Anime News Network. According to the website a new character designs have already been published for both Yamato Ishida and Gabumon, who will both appear "Digimon Adventure Tri."
In addition to the new character designs, the official "Digimon Adventure" website recently added a Digi-egg, to which fans are encouraged to click everyday until it hatches.
While it has not been specified, it could be the website's gimmick of revealing "Digimon Adventure Tri's" official trailer and release date, since April has yet to end.
In line with this, "Digimon Adventure Tri" is actually part of the franchise's 15th anniversary commemoration, thus Toei is most likely not going to delay the series.
In addition IGN reported that the series' original voice actors are returning to reprise their roles for the sequel.
"We've got our first look at the Digimon in Digimon Adventure Tri, and now have official confirmation that the original Japanese voice cast will return," the publication claimed.
And if the series would not be aired this April, it's most certain that it will be shown on the TV during spring this year.
The website already released an official video poster of the original lead character, Taichi, who in the teaser appeared to be in his teenage years in high school, where it also teased a release date that will happen in spring.
The upcoming series is set to return three years following the events on "Digimon Adventure 02," where Taichi and his team called the Chosen Children group, would reunite together with their parter Digimons to help save the Digital World.
