Following announcement that "Geard of War 4" for Xbox One is in the works, fans kept asking about its release date.
While no official announcement has been released yet, VC Post mentioned in their article that Black Tusk Studios could finally launch the gaming title at E3 2015.
And while "GOW 4" is confirmed for Xbox One console, Jack Felling, a developer from Black Tusk Studios, revealed that it will not come to Xbox 360.
According to Stack, Felling answered a fan on who asked if "Gears of War 4" is going to be released for Xbox 360 as well.
"No, sorry, it won't be available on the 360, but it will be available for the Xbox One," he said on Twitter.
And while there hasn't been any concrete details for "Gears of War 4" release date, new GM Rod Ferguson, who replaced Hanno Lemke, claimed that the team is working hard for the development of the game's sequel.
Despite changes with the management, Xbox head Phil Spencer assured fans that the developers are "making a massive progress" in an interview with Game Spot.
"The thing that was great about the early Gears of War games, to me, [was] just the epic scale of the settings that I was in," Spencer explained. "The story, the setting was a lot more what I would call soulful and maybe even a little dark. And [Rod Fergusson] and I have talked about this; I think the game over time became almost more of a parody of itself; not for any kind of horrible reasons. It's hard to continue to manage the IP."
And as for the game's storyline, Spencer revealed that it's not going to be a reboot, instead it will be true to its roots.
"I wouldn't call it a reboot, because I don't think the franchise necessarily needs that," he explained.
He added, "I think we can make sure that we're investing in this thing for the next decade, which is how I want to think about it. The thing that was great about the early Gears of War games, to me, [was] just the epic scale of the settings that I was in. I think the story and the setting and what they're going through in a Gears of War-the name of the game, it really meant something to what that game was about. We've got to get back to that. The feeling of those individuals."
