While fans are waiting for the arrival of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season 4 premiere, the show is looking to be exciting.
MStarz reported that new cast member Margo Simms has admitted that she and Nikko Smith are still together despite the infamous sex video scandal Smith got himself into with former girlfriend Mimi Faust.
"Nikko and I are married still," she revealed. "We were never the best husband and wife. We were kids and before we got married we were the best of friends. We always worked on music together, we were always focused on art, he always pushed me on not to be focused on a guy."
And while she did not mention anything about her husband's cheating, the new "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" cast member said that she has already built a wall.
"Maybe this is why I kind of built this wall, I don't know, I just don't want to be tied down by some guy. Even if he's my husband, I just want to have my own freedom."
Furthermore, Simms revealed that she has been asked to appear on the show last season but the violent nature of it made her not want to get involved with the cast.
"I didn't initial want to be a part of 'Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.' I've seen it a couple of times and that's one of the reasons why I said I was not gonna do this show. I'm not a fighter unless I have to defend myself and I guess that's like anything in life. I just don't care what anyone thinks about me. I'm my own person, I'm my own woman - yea, ok I'm married to Nikko, but I don't have any man putting any battery in my back. I just want people to see me.
She did not however mentioned why she finally decided to grant the showrunner's request of including her in the lineup of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta."
Nikko Smith wife's casting was first reported by Media Takeout to which Mimi Faust confirmed with Cotten Kandi at her 45th birthday celebration.
"Yes [I can confirm his wife will play a role and will be on the show]," she admitted when asked if Margo Simms would indeed appear in the show.
Meanwhile, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" cast Nikko Smith has been seen inflicting problems to his ex-girlfriend Mimi Faust during a teaser trailer of season 4, which will premiere on April 20.
The footage showed Faust asking for Stevie J's help following a photo shoot altercation with Smith.
Karlie Redd, Erica Dixon known as "Momma Dee" and K. Michelle who appeared in previous seasons are all returning for "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" season 4.
The premiere will air on April 20 at 8:00 pm EST.
