Will the new hybrid dinosaur called Indominus Rex appear in the next "Jurassic World" movie?
According to Jurassic World Org a follow up movie to Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic World" is already in talks but as of now the development is still at "blue sky."
While Universal Pictures has yet to confirm the news, director Colin Trevorrow previously teased fans that the team working on the Steven Spielberg's franchise is seriously considering working on a sequel in his interview with Empire.
"We definitely talked about [sequels] a lot," the director admitted. "We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story."
And since a sequel is already in talks fans could not help but ask if the new hybrid dinosaur to be introduced in "Jurassic World" could make it to the next installment of the franchise.
It has been revealed in the previous trailers that Indominus Rex is killing machine who's only concern is to annihilate everything on its path, thus chances are Chris Pratt who is the lead star would not be able to kill it, rather he could just help the people trapped in Isla Nublar escape.
Indominus Rex is officially described as the "most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World." It's roar could reach to 140-160db, "the same as 747 taking off and landing," reaching a speed of 50km/h.
The official plot summary to "Jurassic World" reads below:
"22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Patel Corporation. Owen, a member of Jurassic World's on-site staff, conducts behavioural research on the Velociraptors. After many years, Jurassic World's attendance rates begin to decline and a new attraction, created to re-spark visitor interest, gravely backfires."
"Jurassic World" cast is led by Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, BD Wong and Irrfan Khan.
Vincent D'Onofrio, Judy Greer, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Tee, Andy Buckley, James DuMont, Courtney James Clark, Omar Sy and Katie McGrath are also included in the lineup.
"Jurassic World" is slated for June 12, 2015 release date.
