The Sony Xperia Z4 didn't show up at the recently concluded CES and MWC 2015 which showcased some of the much awaited flagships of the year, and some tech giants had their own standalone events to introduce their new devices.
The HTC One M9, and Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are now gearing up to hit the stores, and another competitive flagship, the LG G4, will be unveiled on April 28, while the Sony Xperia Z4 is still missing on the spotlight.
According to IB Times, we may not get our hands on the Xperia Z4 until the upcoming IFA 2015 as PCAdvisor has claimed that it will be unveiled on the said event that will be held between 4 and 9 September. However, with the series of leaked press images that are making its rounds online the Xperia Z4 might get an earlier release date 'any time soon' as GSM Arena predicted.
The new leaked press images obtained by GSM Arena revealed that the upcoming Xperia Z4 followed Sony's OmniBalance design language, and the control panel has been first confirmed on the recent leaked cases of the upcoming flagship.
Specs-wise, the Xperia Z4 with model number PM-0780 was recently confirmed to pass FCC. It is reported to sport a 5.2-inch display with a solid Quad HD screen resolution. Just like the new flagships from different phone manufacturers, the upcoming Z4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 coupled by a 4GB of RAM. It may also pack a 32GB or 64GB onboard internal storage which will be expandable up to 128GB. As for its camera, it will feature a 20.7MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper, IB Times reported.
