It has been confirmed that Huawei P8 will be unveiled in London on April 15th. Ahead of Huawei's standalone event a smaller variant of the upcoming flagship, dubbed as P8 Lite, has surfaced and received a TENAA certification without any confirmation from the company, GSM Arena reported.
Today four live images of the P8 Lite leaked online and GSM Arena was quick to obtain a copy of the images that reveals a black and white color option of the P8 Lite.
As per PhoneArena, the Huawei P8 Lite will pack a 5" 720p display, 1.2 GHz Kirin 620 processor coupled with a 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage. It will sport the same 13MP rear camera, and a watered down selfie snapper at 5MP. It will also feature a EmotionUI-skinned Android 5.0.
The Huawei P8 Lite will also measure 143 x 70.6 x 7.7mm, and 132 grams of weight and an inferior battery of 2200 mAh.
On the other hand, the Hauwei P8 has a larger screen display of 5.2" 1080p display and will be powered by a Kirin 930 chipset with 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage that can be expanded vi a microSD of up to 128GB. As aforementioned, its rear has 13 MP while its front has 8 MP selfie snapper. It's 2520 mAh battery may run the phone for long hours of usage. It's network connectivity support s 4G dual SIM dual standby, Phone Arena added.
The Huawei P8 has the premium design of metal and glass body at 6.4mm thin. The upcoming flagship is expected to be retailed at $480 USD, while its rumored Platinum Edition which will be allegedly coated with a Sapphire glass on the front and back of the handset will get a price tag of more than $800 USD.
