It seems like Jennifer Lawrence is keen on making things work out between her and boyfriend Chris Martin.
Despite the rumored drama in their relationship the two reportedly spent Easter together despite the busy schedule.
"Following his spring break trip with his family, Chris flew to New York City to meet up with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, Yahoo! Celebrity reported. "The Coldplay frontman, 38, and Lawrence, 24, have been stealthily dating since August - although it was rumored they briefly split last fall - but this is the first time they have been spotted together in public since Harry Styles's birthday bash on Jan. 31."
Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Chris Martin apparently celebrated the Easter at Tavern on the Green in Central Park where the "Hunger Games" actress feasted on roast beef sandwich while Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-husband ate eggs benedict.
The source of the publication claimed that the two kept their date "very low-key and happy" as they looked "very cute together, but didn't go [overboard] with PDA."
However, while things seems to be going well between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin, the family of "Hunger Games" star reportedly is not favoring the relationship.
According to Heat magazine JLaw's family wants her co-star Liam Hemsworth to be her boyfriend and not Chris Martin.
"Liam and Jen have always been close - there's a real bond between them and they turn to each other when they have problems," an alleged source claimed.
Furthermore, the 24-year-old Oscar winning actress' friends and family are reportedly "desperate" on bringing the couple apart.
"Her friends and family are desperate for her to ditch Chris - they feel Liam's a better match and doesn't carry all the baggage of Gwyneth and children," the insider added.
In addition, Chris Martin's responsibilities with his children from Gwyneth Paltrow have reportedly taken a toll on the 24-year-old Oscar winning actress.
"Jen wants commitment from Chris, but he is still spending time with Gwyneth because of the kids," the Heat's insider revealed. "Jen's sometimes lonely and Liam is filling that gap. They're in contact all the time. There's genuine love there between them."
And while JLaw's family is not in favor of her boyfriend Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow on the other hand has vehemently denied rumors that she did not like Jennifer Lawrence.
"Who says I don't approve?" she said on "The Howard Stern Show." "I respect him as the father of my children and it's his life, and it's his decision, and I do think that he loves the kids so much and I don't think he would be with someone who wasn't great."
