Sharing characters has been a fruitful strategy for "The Flash" and "Arrow" which also have the same showrunners and executive producers. They did it twice in two episodes and they are slated to do it in at least another episode before they end their current seasons. Some of their characters are also set to star in a spinoff series set to premiere next year.
It is not only cast these two superhero TV series from CW are sharing, even directors. A new "Arrow" season 3 episode guide has been released and one of its biggest highlight is the director behind it.
The 21st episode of the show is titled "Al Sah-him" and it was directed by Thor Freudenthal who also directed "The Flash" 15th episode called "Out of Time." Before his 2015 TV gigs, Freudenthal has been notable for his film works namely "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid." He Is also expected to call the shots for the film adaption of "Percy Jackson: Titan's Curse."

In the next episode called "Broken Arrow", Oliver Queen's struggle regarding his alter ego will continue as Capt. Lance still has his eyes on him. This is while another villain called Deathbolt (Doug Jones) wreak havoc in the city. "The Fallen", the episode before "Al Sah-him," will see Ra's al Ghul make an that Oliver cannot refuse.
