'Gotham' Episode Guide: Jim Gordon Close To Stepping To The Dark Side?

| By

Be McKenzie's Jim Gordon has always been the incorruptible police officer in a city where crimes happen as often as one can imagine. However, in this latest "Gotham" episode guide from McKenzie himself, it seems Gordon will finally fall to the demons. If in the previous episodes the GCPD cop always see to it that he is doing justice the right way, the next ones will see him forcibly take steps he does not really want.

"I think he's being sucked in," McKenzie told Comic Book Resources when asked for "Gotham" episode guide regarding his character.

"He's aware on some level, but the overwhelming nature of Gotham tends to beat you down. Even if you are aware on some level of what's going on, you are really focused on what's right ahead of you. You can't really see the full picture. You're just in it. So, I think he's a little unaware."

Before that, the former "O.C." actor also revealed Jim is on some kind of evolution and that will play out in the remaining "Gotham" episodes.

"You're seeing a real evolution in Jim's character in that he is not afraid to do something that's morally or ethically borderline, if not over the line, in order to get what he wants, get what he needs, and to serve the greater good. He's doing it in part for Harvey and he gives Harvey back the dirt, so Harvey is in the clear. However, they are in a détente as we leave the last episode."

The show will return on April 13 after more than one month of hiatus and according to recent "Gotham" episode guide, Jim and his team will face-off with a notorious serial killer called Ogre (Milo Ventimiglia). This character will be in at least three episodes (there are only four weeks left for the show) and his presence is one of those things that will trigger Jim's evolution.

Next episode is titled "Beasts of Prey." Read the full "Gotham" episode guide below:
