Is Rudy The Helena Of Male Clones? More Spoilers From Ari Millen As 'Orphan Black' Season 3 Premiere Episode Airs Next Week

| By

The "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere episode is pretty much set. It will pick up shortly from where it left off in the second season finale and will shed more light about the identity of male clones (all to be portrayed by Ari Millen). The show has released several promotional videos over the past weeks to allow people to get to know more about new threats in the life of Tatiana Maslany's female clones.

With the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere set to happen next week, April 18 and the several spoilers the BBC sci-fi series shared, fans are probably well informed about what to expect. Like how close the brothers are and how determined Sarah is to protect her seestrahs. But of course, it is just the pilot episode. As the new season progresses, more details will be revealed about the male clones.

One notable male clone that was introduced is Rudy, a.k.a. The Scarface. He stood out among all his brothers because of his strong demeanor and the paints in his face, making some of the audience think he is the counterpart of Helena, the Ukrainian assassin who started out creepy before finding home in the arms of her sisters.

Talking to the Entertainment Weekly ahead of the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere next week, Ari Millen explained what Rudy really is. He also answered the question if Scarface and Helena are the same.

"[Laughs] Rudy's the type of guy who going to try to get under everyone's skin because it's a game to him," the young actor said.

"He just really loves control and having the upperhand and playing with people. That's how he gets off. Whenever he's in a scene with someone, he'll be picking away at them. If he can start making cracks in their demeanor and get them off their game, that's definitely where he's at."

Millen also shared more details about the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere episode, particularly the scene between Rudy and Sarah Manning who was the first one among all Leda clones to know they have their male counterparts.

TVLINE | One of the first images that we saw from the new season is of Rudy sitting across from Sarah. How would you describe their relationship?

That's a total antagonistic scene. Obviously, Castor knows a lot more about Leda than Leda knows about Castor. They just found out about them. He knows who he's talking to, he knows her story, he knows why she's there and he's not giving her anything. He's just going to play the game. He's going to have a good time.

"Orphan Black" season 3 premiere episode will be simultaneously broadcast in BBC America, AMC, SundanceTV, IFC and We TV.
