Burger King mascot prank was at it again this weekend in Georgia a prankster dressed in the Burger King costume who was spotted roaming around a local McDonald's location and dished out free burgers to the customers.
Police were called to a McDonald's in Rome, Georgia after the Burger King mascot walked into the chain dressed and proceeded to hand out free burgers from Burger King, dancing alongside customers, and drawing attention away from customers who had initially entered to buy a McDonald's burger.
The Burger King mascot even did the popular "Gangnam Style" dance with the customers. It's been reported that the man is part of a comedy troupe called "Woodcreek Faction" and that the prank was their doing. The group uploaded the video to YouTube which is already gaining popularity.
When a manager confronted the unnamed man, he said he was simply "raising money for charity", although he collected no money during his visit.
"How are you raising money by giving out burgers?" the manager asked. She later added, "Who are you raising money for?"
"It's for everybody. It's for the world. It's for all the children," was the vague reply that followed.
The man then added a few quick "thank you" before driving away. The manager informed him that she would be calling the police, but the mystery man was gone by the time police had arrived.
Police were called to the scene, though no arrests were made.
