Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was undoubtedly one of the best phablet of 2014, but the hype has cooled down for the Note 4 as fans of the model's series are now excited on the upcoming new release, which is rumored to be unveiled in September after the one year cycle of its predecessor in the market, Ecumenical News reported.
Breathecast recently reported that a Korean publication claims that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 may come a month earlier, though apparent reasons were not elaborated for the August release.
Latino Post added that according to unnamed sources of Trusted Reviews , "Samsung will start mass production of its first phone-bound 4K displays next August. It has been suggested that production will be quickly ramped up in order to get the Galaxy Note 5 in to retailers by October."
It was already confirmed by Roh Tae-Moon, the executive vice president of Samsung, that all upcoming Note handsets could feature a curved display, according to IB Times.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature the curved glass display first found on the Galaxy Note 4 Edge, and might sport a 5.9-inch 4K Super AMOLED display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Specs-wise, the Galaxy Note 5 will be the ultimate flagship of the year as it may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or an Exynos 7420 SoC processor which will be supported by a 4GB of RAM. Its internal storage might be 32GB or G4GB that could be expanded via a microSD up to 128GB.
It is expected to have a larger battery capacity of 4000 mAh which can provide 20 percent of power, since it is expected to come with a high resolution display that could easily drain up the battery.
Other rumored features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 include retina scanner and a fingerprint scanner on its front panel. Some reports also claim that it will also be dust and water resistant, Christian Today added.
