'Breaking Bad' Cast Has Found New Gig After His Hit TV Show; His Catchphrase Is Even More Impressive

| By

It has been more than one year since the hit AMC drama "Breaking Bad" aired its last episode and yet, its effect on TV fanatics still lingers.

The show has helped lead cast Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul easily sidestep into the big screen while others landed lead roles in other TV series like Dean Norris in "Under the Dome," Krysten Ritter in the upcoming Netflix series "A.K.A. Jessica Jones" and of course, Jonathan Banks and Bob Odenkirk in the BB spinoff series "Better Call Saul."

While most "Breaking Bad" cast continue with their acting craft, RJ Mitte, a.k.a. Walter White Jr, took a different path. From crutches and luxury cars, Junior now has his hands busy with vinyls, multiple sequencer and microphones.

Although this is a completely different endeavor for Mitte, he was never really far from "Breaking Bad" which got him a nomination from the Young Artist Award. He is set for an eight-month tour and the name of it? Breaking Beats.

In an interview with the New York Post, the 22-year old "Breaking Bad" cast alum said deejaying has always been something he liked as a kid although he did not take it seriously.

"I used to dabble as a DJ when I was a kid, but never did it [seriously]. I'm having a good time getting my sets together," the "Breaking Bad" actor said.

To the fans who are missing "Breaking Bad" be at Mitte's tour as according to him, his playlist will include songs from the critically acclaimed TV series.

"I'll be using a few of the songs from the show," he says. "There could be some blue rock candy involved as well. We'll see . . ."

After "Breaking Bad," Mitte was last seen in ABC Family TV series "Switched at Birth" where he appeared for nine episodes as Campbell Bingman.
