In the last episode of CW TV series "The Flash," Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) made a huge revelation in front one of a "friend."
The night featuring the Trickster saw a lot of plot lines explored by the show, all of which expected to affect future events.
One of those plot lines is when the Scarlet Speedster revealed his real identity to Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett), the boyfriend of Iris West and distant-relative of Eobard Thawne, the show's current big bad.
There is no "The Flash" episode guide yet whether Eddie will use his knowledge of the real person behind the streaking red light but according to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, his partnership with the Flash, as well as Joe West (Jesse Martin) might not last that long.
"Barry and Joe's decision to clue Eddie in on The Flash's identity while keeping Iris in the dark is going to cause plenty of disagreement within the trio," TV Line's Michael Ausiello wrote when a fan asked for a "The Flash" episode guide. He went on to quote Kreisberg to better explain his scoop.
"Eddie, as the much more emotionally in-touch character, is like, 'This is ridiculous. By not telling her, you're actually putting her in more danger,'" exec producer Andrew Kreisberg previews.
"That starts to become the conflict between the three men, because Eddie is not happy with how Barry and Joe have been handling this. It starts to really impact his relationship with Iris." It'll also force Barry to take a good, long look at himself - and he won't like what he sees. Teases Kreisberg: "Barry will go, 'Wait, when did I become such a great liar? I thought of myself as so innocent and pure.'"
The hit CW superhero series will return on April 14 for the episode titled "All-Star Team Up."

"Barry is surprised when Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer (guest star Brandon Routh), who flies in as the Atom. They've come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it's all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvin (guest star Emily Kinney) unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays). A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie turns into a disaster."
