Disregard the crappy ticket sales of "Expendables 3" last year, Jason Statham is still returning for the fourth installment of the franchise.
Statham, in his previous interview with IGN said that "working with Sylvester Stallone is beyond a 'pinch yourself' moment ... to be directed by him in a movie that he's produced, and to be shoulder-to-shoulder with Sly is a privilege anyone who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at."
Adding, "I'll do as many as he wants," Statham added. "It's not my thing to dream up the ideas and what's in store. One, do I want to do another one? Two, are people tired of it already? You don't know."
While the 47-year-old action star has expressed his desire to reprise his role as Lee Christmas, rumors involving Justin Bieber as the new addition to the line-up of "Expendables 4," reportedly despised Statham, according to DNA India.
Jason Statham reportedly thinks that the "Boyfriend" singer's fighting skills are not "up to scratch."
Even retired MMA fighter turned actor Randy Couture, who has also been in the franchise since it was first released was apparently not convinced that Bieber's casting will work out.
However Sylvester Stallone has yet to comment about rumors linking Justin Bieber to the "Expendables 4" movie.
What he did confirm is that the fourth installment to the action-packed movie series will feature something new, a "fish out of water scenario" that was not featured during the first three films.
"I have actually entertained the idea of putting the group into such an unnatural environment that it, in an of itself, creates extra suspense and tension: the 'fish out of water scenario," the 68-year-old veteran actor explained. "That environment might not be time travel, but nearly just as jarring."
Director Patrick Hughes, who's also confirmed to come back for "Expendables 4," admitted that he already pitched in his idea for a possible plot during an interview with Crave Online.
"Seriously, if you're going to do a number four, break outside the box," he said of his conversation with Stallone. "Let's do something really different."
Adding, "I was like, 'You need to add a level of sci-fi.' So it's an action sci-fi. The slant of the sci-fi is something to do with a time machine, where they go through some void, right? And The Expendables land on the beach on D-Day, and it's them sweeping the Nazis out of France!"
In addition to Jason Statham Expendables Premiere revealed that wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is also included in the cast of lineup of "Expendables 4."
"Hulk Hogan is expected to visit Bulgaria for filming action movie " The Expendables 4," the entertainment site claimed, quoting a supposed Tweet of the retired WWE star's involvement in the movie.
"Brother, they already had the actors. Relax, I'm in the fourth part," he allegedly tweeted.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Manny Pacquiao are also rumored as part of "Expendables 4" cast. However, Sylvester Stallone has yet to release a statement about the official cast for the movie.
