Gamers who are eagerly waiting for the "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date are disappointed because rumors are circulating that it will be delayed due to the gaming title's switch to Unreal Engine 4.
"The technology is moving forward a lot," game designer Tai Yasue explained of the switch from Luminous to Unreal Engine system. "That's something we've learned from the West, I think, in a big way. We're using Unreal Engine 4 right now, and that really has changed the way we make the game."
And while fans are worried about the impending release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" Eurogamer that the game developer is confident that there's nothing to be worried about as "the switch has been seamless, and development on the game is progressing smoothly."
In addition a trailer and the possible announcement of release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected to happen at the upcoming 2015 D23 Expo in Anaheim in August.
"At the moment, we have major titles such as Dragon Quest Heroes and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD," Square Enix President Yosuke Matsuda said.
"In 2015, I believe we will offer a vast number of high-end games in both the domestic market and overseas. Now that we've already announced Final Fantasy XV, we will also reveal information on [another] JRPG. I believe we have a bit of a surprise in store for this year."
Even if he did not specifically mention "Kingdom Hearts 3," experts are expecting that the surprise Matsuda is talking about is actually the highly anticipated game.
Additional hints revealed by experts suggest that the game's developer is indeed getting ready for a big announcement about "Kingdom Hearts 3."
TheGamersJoint of YouTube, recently revealed that they've discovered a hidden logo coded in HTML format in the official website, pointing out the possibility of the release date announcement.
And while there hasn't been any official news about the impending release date announcement of "Kingdom Hearts 3" Amazon already released a pre-order price for the game which costs $40.99 for both PS4 and Xbox One gaming consoles.
