"Dead Island 2" release date is expected to come out late this month following a recent "accidental" tweet by a U.K. retailer GAME.

According to Design & Trend, the retailer tweeted a list of upcoming Most Wanted Games for 2015, which will be released on April 24 and on it includes "Dead Island 2," alongside "Mortal Kombat X" and "Bloodborne."

The new "Dead Island 2" game will be widely available in PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

GAME however clarified that the release date is still subject to change when asked by a fan, noting that their website did not mention a specific date as of yet only that it will happen this year.

In addition Polygon previously hinted of the game's release date following Deep Silver's revelation that it will come out sometime in spring this year.

Last years Sony's E3 event, the company showcased the new features gamers could expect in the highly anticipated zombie-themed game.

"Several months after the events on Banoi, the United States military has put the Golden State under full quarantine," it stated.

"Now a restricted zone, California has become a bloody paradise for those who refuse to leave their homes and an action-packed playground for renegades who seek adventure, glory and a fresh start. Combining the classic Dead Island elements of immersive close combat, action and role-playing, Dead Island 2 features crazy, never-before-seen handcrafted weapons and over-the-top characters in taking players from the iconic Golden Gate to the celebrated beachfront boardwalk of southern California's Venice Beach."

Deep Silver has yet to comment on the said leakage of "Dead Island 2" release date as of press time.
