Uma Thurman Back For 'Kill Bill 3: The Whole Bloody Affair' - Will Quentin Tarantino Finally Make A Third Sequel To His Dark Martial Arts Movie?

| By

Uma Thurman, whose character as "The Bride" wowed fans and critics alike, is coming back in "Kill Bill 3: The Whole Bloody Affair."

Quentin Tarantino's hit dark and gritty martial arts movie is going to be a combination of the two films rather than a prequel or a sequel to it.

"Kill Bill 3: The Whole Bloody Affair" is going to feature scenes from the first and second movie which were not seen in theaters, it's like an uncut version with additional animation sequences made by Quentin Tarantino, which was eventually removed from the theatrical release.

"What's going on with that is originally back when Kill Bill was going to be one movie, I wrote an even longer anime sequence," Tarantino explained.

"So you see in the movie [O-Ren] kill her boss but then there was that long hair guy... The big sequence was her fighting that guy. I.G. [The Japanese Anime Studio] who did Ghost in the Shell said we can't do that and finish it in time for your thing. And [plus] you can't have a thirty-minute piece in your movie. I said okay. It was my favorite part but it was the part you could drop. So we dropped it and then later when I.G. heard we were talking about doing Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair - they still had the script so without even being commissioned, they just did it and paid for it themselves. It's really terrific. Anyway, The Weinstein Company and myself were talking about actually coming out with it sometime, not before the year is out, but within the next year with limited theatrical engagement as well."

But before fans get disappointed by not having an actual "Kill Bill 3" movie, Uma Thurman is still very much willing to do another one if, Quentin Tarantino decides to.

"Ultimately, of course, it's a Quentin Tarantino call because he would have to decide to do it," she explained to MTV. "He's so full of bean and ideas that he'll either have the lightning bolt of inspiration about it or he won't. So who knows? When the fat lady sings, we shall know."

While QT never really entertained the thought of a third sequel or prequel to the first two "Kill Bill" films, the phenomenal success of the franchise could still possible change his mind though.
