Is "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell" the official title of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2?"
Well it hasn't been officially announced yet but according to Den of Geek, the title to the sequel of the commercially successful reboot of the reptile-themed movie has been accidentally revealed by the L.A. Clippers guard JJ Redick, who will reportedly play a part in the movie, during his appearance at "The Lowe Post" podcast.
"Myself, Austin Rivers, Matt Barnes, Spencer Hawes, and DeAndre Jordan," Redick teased. "Later this afternoon, the five of us, along with five Knicks players are going to be back at MSG and we're going to be filming a scene for the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' sequel, 'Half Shell.'"
"I'm probably going to get in trouble," Reddick said after realizing that he probably made a mistake by revealing the title of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2."
Reddick is not the only one who'll be added in the lineup Victoria's Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio is also included in the lineup, The Hollywood Reported confirmed.
"Ambrosia and TMNT star Will Arnett were photographed kissing at a New York Knicks game on March 25. But the lip-lock didn't signal a new couple. Instead, the pair were filming a scene for the sequel. Ambrosia will play herself and the love interest of Arnett's character in the film," the entertainment site reported.
Will Megan Fox be replaced by Ambrosio?
While this has yet to be discussed, rumors claim that Fox will no longer appear in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2," following a statement she once made about the sequel to the movie produced by Michael Bay in an interview with Screen Rant.
"Right now there is no real plan for a second one, I think we'll know very soon though and I'll definitely do it if they will have me. This turned out really well, way better than I could have ever hoped."
William Fichtner who successfully portrayed the role of Eric Sacks, Shredder's aprrentice, on the other hand has confirmed his appearance in the sequel in an interview with the Flickering Myth.
"You know, honestly I don't," when asked if he had anything to say about the upcoming sequel. "I know they're working on the script right now. I think we're going to start shooting late April and I don't know much more about it than that right now."
"I am," he revealed. "And I look forward to whatever that is!"
Michael Bay will once again produce the sequel with his partner Platinum Dunes.
Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec will pen and executive produce "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" sequel. Director Jonathan Liebesman, oh the other hand, has been replaced by Dave Green.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" release date is reportedly on June 3, 2016.
