'The Flash' Episode Guide: Harrison Wells To Use Speed Force To Be Able To Use Barry Allen?

| By

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is getting more suspicious of colleague Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

In their more recent episode, it took only one article for the Scarlet Speedster to realize his friends might be right about Dr. Wells who week before has just been revealed to be Eobard Thawn, the Reverse Flash from the future.

According to recent "The Flash" episode guide, professional relationship between Barry and the mad scientist will continue as they chase a familiar villain in the Trickster (Mark Hamill).

While Barry's unsettling feelings for his mentor has just kicked in, Dr. Wells is already a couple of steps ahead. In fact, the Reverse Flash from the future is preparing something that Barry has no idea of, the Speed Force.

In the comics, Speed Force is the "extra-dimensional energy that once powered all of the Flash's superhuman abilities." According to "The Flash" episode guide from Tom Cavanagh, Wells will use Barry through the use of this element.

"If you know the Speed Force, it's fair to say that Barry's abilities come from a positive culling of the Speed Force," the actor told the Entertainment Weekly.

"Reverse Flash's abilities come from what Barry would call a negative culling of the Speed Force. Truthfully, the Speed Force is important to both of them accomplishing their goals and the Speed Force doesn't separate. As they fight towards what they really want-or think they want-they are going to have to take advantage of that Speed Force. I say, 'think they want,' because if you're familiar with the mythology, what Barry needs and what Barry thinks he wants aren't always the same thing."

Wells didn't clear though when will this appear. As for the next episode, Barry and his friends will battle the Trickster next. Find out why on "The Flash" episode guide below.

"A copycat killer who goes by the name "The Trickster" (guest star Devon Graye) starts setting off bombs in Central City. In order to stop the villain, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) meet with the original Trickster, a criminal mastermind named James Jesse (guest star Mark Hamill), who has been imprisoned for 20 years. Things quickly go from bad to worse when the Tricksters unite and take Henry (John Wesley Shipp) prisoner."
