After Avril Lavigne revealed to a fan that she's suffering from an undisclosed health condition, the Canadian rockstar had been away from the limelight as it sparked rumors with drug problem and depression due to her failed marriage.
Avril then broke her silence and denied these rumors.
"The rehab RUMORS are hilarious! The only thing I'm addicted to right now is Bing Crosby. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! and to all a goodnight,'' she wrote on Twitter.
Avril also recently revealed on Twitter her new single that will be released in support of the Special Olympics World Games to be held in Los Angeles this summer.
She revealed to her followers that the song is helping her get through her undisclosed health issues.
"Right now I'm using my own (new) song lyrics to help me get through this...... Just reach up, don't give up until you've touched the sky. Just reach up, don't give up until you've realized that we were all meant to fly."
The song has been written by the "Hello Kitty" singer for the The Avril Lavigne Foundation to support Special Olympics and will be released in advance of the Special Olympics World Summer Games. The said event will take place on July 25-Aug. 2, 2015.
But before the album's release, The Avril Lavigne Foundation wrote that it launches a logo design contest for "Fly."
''This logo will be used to represent the song throughout promotions for "Fly", which could potentially include a t-shirt and more,'' the post continued.
''The song was inspired by Avril Lavigne's work with the Avril Lavigne Foundation, which R.O.C.K.S.: providing Respect, Opportunity, Choices, Knowledge and Strength in support of children and youth living with serious illnesses or disabilities.''
Hello Magazine Canada added that Avril ''will hand-pick the top design'' and the lucky winner will receive an authentic signed photo, as well as a "thank you" tweet and Facebook post from the star and promotion on the Avril Lavigne Foundation's website.
The "Fly" logo design contest is until March 31, 2015. Check out the mechanics of the contest here.
