'God Of War 4' PS4 Release Date Announement To Coincide With 'GOW 3' Remastered Version?

| By

"God of War 4" PS4 release date is now expected to be announced following Sony's official statement that "GOW 3" remastered version is coming in July.

While it hasn't been officially announced, gamers and experts are looking forward into hearing the game's official release date during the E3 2015 convention from Sony's Santa Monica Studio.

Prior the highly anticipated announcement that's supposed to happen during E3 2015, IGN has speculated that "God of War 4" could possibly be released sometime between 2017 to 2018.

While fans are waiting for updates about the fourth sequel, Sony has promised to bring a better quality of the gaming series to PS4 on July 14.

Barlog reported that the studio is still having a hard time working on "God of War 4," thus it's main focus is to bring the series to the "next generation" of console, while trying to figure out how to create the sequel.

"Creating an original game is really hard," he said. "It takes a combination of creativity, tenacity, guts, skill, and let's be honest here, no small amount of total lunacy to imagine and see to the finish an entirely new world."

"So making an original game that is successful, well that is just lightning in a bottle, my friends. I believe that David Jaffe did just that when he created and directed the first God of War game."

Thus, a remastered version of "God of War 4" is going to be introduced to PS4 gamers.

"Remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play 'God of War 3' five years ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4," he said. "People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we'd like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, form generation to generation."

"God of War 3" remastered boasts a 1080p HD resolution which includes all previous DLC costumes and contents of the the characters, it also features Photo Mode, groundbreaking depth of scale, a more realistic muscle striations and detailed facial expressions with an all new level of heightened brutality and gore.
