With "Jane The Virgin" season 1's finale coming up, fans are starting to speculate on who they think Jane (Gina Rodriguez) will pick between the two guys who proposed to her.
Although she's already carrying Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) baby and has already declared him the guy she wants to be with, she still shares a deep connection with her ex-fiance, Michael (Brett Dier).
On the one hand, Rafael is rich, sweet, and would make a really good dad. On the other hand, Michael is super loyal and thoughtful. Who should Jane choose?
Entertainment Weekly tried to ask the cast's opinion on the issue during the show's PaleyFest red carpet event.
Of course Justin Baldoni and Brett Dier both rooted for their own characters to succeed but most of the cast are on the Team Michael wagon.
"Imagine going through what he went through and still loving the girl. He went through a lot of stuff, and he still loves her more than anything. I'm rooting for him," Dier said.
Baldoni said that he's Team Rafael because he knows the character best but admitted that if he was a normal fan, he would be siding with Michael as well.
Meanwhile, cast members Andrea Navedo (Xiomara), Jamie Camil (Rogelio), and Yael Grobglas (Petra) are all rooting for the enthusiastic detective to win in the "Jane The Virgin" season 1 finale.
However, writer Jennie Snyder Urman is Team Rafael all the way.
"I'm always team underdog," she revealed, adding that she used to be Team Michael in the beginning but changed her mind as the story progressed.
"I had to make myself [like] Rafael at the beginning, so I could get them together and believe in that romance. When they were doing great, I had to find my love of the Michael-Jane relationship," the writer continued.
As for the star of the show? Gina Rodriguez is surprisingly on Team Michael.
"You want somebody that is a lock. You want stability. You want somebody that is kind and caring and understanding," the Golden Globe winner said. "Jane and Michael's relationship is so that."
