Eva Longoria has confirmed that she is indeed dating Mark Sanchez, a 25-year-old New York Jets player during an interview on "Extra" T.V.
The 37-year-old "Desperate Housewives" actress confirmed to T.V. host Mario Lopez that she is dating the young NFL player.
"Mark and I are, you know, fine. We're happy just dating," Longoria told her pal Mario Lopez, stopping by the magazine show "Extra" to discuss her role as co-chair of President Obama's reelection campaign
This isn't Longoria's first high-profile relationship with an athlete. She married San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker in July 2007, but the couple divorced in 2010. During the marriage, she was known as Eva Longoria Parker, but she returned to only two names following the split.
Longoria was previously married to Spurs star Tony Parker but divorced after she learned he had cheated on her with one of his colleague's wife. Most recently, she was dating Penelope Cruz's younger brother, 27-year-old Eduardo Cruz.
Meanwhile, Sanchez has previously been rumored to be in relationships with Kate Upton, Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
Sanchez dished to GQ in September 2011 about what he looks for in a woman.
"I can't help but want somebody that's, I don't know, athletic. Family is big. My mom has to love her. I mean, love her. Somebody who can handle all this. . . because I'm still learning," he told the magazine. "Cynically, I think, 'Okay, how is this person going to help me with a Super Bowl?'"
The pair is also said to have enjoyed a rendezvous in the Caribbean, and despite their star status, managed to go unnoticed. 'Life's so short,' the actress, 37, recently told People. 'You should be surrounded by people who make each other better people.
