Adele Collaborating With Phil Collins For New Album '25' While XL Recordings Will Surprise 'Skyfall' Singer's Fans With Its Release Date?

| By

Adele and legendary singer Phil Collins have reportedly continued their colloboration for the "Skyfall" singer's new album, 25.

The teamup between Adele and Collins was said to be cancelled following reports that the 26-year-old Grammy award winning songstress was having personal issues, Mirror previously reported.

However, things are looking better as a source of the publication reportedly claimed that Adele and the legendary musician are back in the studio to continue with their collaboration for the new album titled 25.

"Over the past few months, Phil has been working on the tracks once again," the alleged insider claimed. "Adele put all her work on hold for a while, so it wasn't anything personal. It was just delayed."

Adding, "She did tell Phil that she was prioritizing her personal life at that time, but now that she's back in work mode their track is happening once again."

While both musicians are still busy working on the new album, it has been heavily rumored that the release date is coming sometime this year.

It was previously reported that the Grammy award-winning artist took to Twitter to hint the release of her new album.

"Bye Bye 25" and "See you later 2015," Adele tweeted.

XL recordings already confirmed the speculations about the release date, teasing fans that Adele could even surprise her fans with the launch of her new album, just like what Beyonce did.

"The album will be released when it's ready - [we] hope that will be at some stage in 2015," the recording company stated.

"The plan is to release internationally on iTunes as a complete surprise without any previous promotion or build-up publicity campaign," XL said. "The shock tactics worked amazingly well for Beyoncé and the feeling is Adele's new album is so widely anticipated it doesn't need a long promotional build-up."
