While fans are still enjoying "Assassin's Creed: Unity," leaked information about the game's sequel titled "Assassin's Creed: Victory" has revealed its possible release date.
Realty Today claimed that according to the leaked information, Ubisoft is planning to announce the "Assassin's Creed: Victory" release date at E3 2015.
While it has been reported that Ubisoft is still planning to announce the official release of the gaming title, the leaked information already suggest that the game will arrive this December.
Screenshots and gameplay footages of the title have surfaced the Internet, however the game developer remained mum about the leakage.
The gaming studio however confirmed that they are indeed working on another "Assassin's Creed" title.
"It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked," Ubisoft said in a PC Advisor report. "And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we're disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we're excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date."
In addition, "Assassin's Creed: Victory" is reportedly set on the Victorian era setting following "Unity's" French Revolution setting.
It has been noted that Ubisoft is determined to keep improving the gameplay while the storyline of the "Assassin's Creed" franchise progress.
Darby McDevitta, writer for "Assassin's Creed" series, even told Latin Post that the company aims to keep the series running for a long time.
"We've created 500, 600, 700 years worth of history that we hope to start teasing out for the next 10, 20 years or however long we're around," McDevitta said. "I particularly love the lore. I've been working the past two years, with all the other writers, on getting a great document together on the First Civilization."
