Sally Struthers has been charged with drunken driving in Maine, according to a media report.
The All in the Family actress, 65, was arrested for drunk driving, specifically on an "OUI" (operating under the influence) charge in near Oguinquit, Maine, the Associated Press confirms.
"Sally is working and she is fine and she loves The Ogunquit Playhouse and her yearly time in Ogunquit. We deny these charges," Struthers' rep told Us Weekly in a statement.
The winner of two Emmy Awards, Struthers (also known for her ChildFund International ads) more recently costarred as Babette on the CW's Gilmore Girls.
According to TMZ, the actress was handcuffed at the scene, and released shortly after she was taken into custody and posted $160 bail.
Her arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 14, and as a first time offender the actress could get a $500 fine and a 90-day suspension on her license, but risks no jail time.
The actress is in Maine for work. She's currently playing Roz in the musical 9 to 5 through Sept. 15.
The penalty for first-time offenders is a $500 fine and 90-day license suspension, according to TMZ.
