The whole "Empire" TV series cast won't return until after more than six months.
Before the Fox musical drama go on a break, it left its fans with so many shocking twists and most importantly, gazillions of questions. A lot of things went on in the two-hour season finale and definitely they need to answer for those come next season. First off, who sold Luciuous Lyon (Terrence Howard) to the FBI? The Empire Enterprises boss' biggest secret is the murder of Bunker, his own friend and cousin of her estrange wife Cookie.
Other questions lingering are what was Cookie doing in Lucious' mansion after the latter's arrest, will Hakeem and Anika ever feel regretful with their relationship? What will happen to the character of new "Empire" TV series cast Jennifer Hudson?
Another question that needs to be answered, and probably overlooked by most fans, has something to do with Lucious' real birth name. Howard's last scene line "Game time, b******" may be the one that got the most attention but the "Empire" TV series cast's real name in the show is something to be discuss. As fans should know by now, the show is full of twists and turns with some of it traced from small details.
In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Ilene Chaiken said there is something about Lucious' birth name Dwight Walker. However, she didn't say anything much about it and the future of the main "Empire" TV series cast's character.
"That remains to be seen. I don't want to give too much away, other than that we all are very interested in Lucious' past," Chaiken said.
"Learning that name - opening up that particular box - is something that we did intentionally. As for White" Walkers, I've now heard that from various people. Danny Strong conceived that moment, and he came up with the name - but [I'm not sure] Danny actually watches Game of Thrones. Maybe some kind of cosmic event took us there?"
