The war between Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) and Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) spanned three and a half season but it somehow died down when they got rid of the Malcolm Black, the illegal arms dealer who held David Clarke (James Tupper) for years in prison. The two somehow called a ceasefire when they lend a hand on each other after getting kidnapped by Black and almost getting killed. Their stance towards each other mellowed down. However, in the latest "Revenge" season 4 episode guide from TV Line, it seems the two is set for another showdown. The fire will burn again. Watch the teaser promo here.
In the last episode, Emily was kept busy by Margaux LeMarchal who is determined to bring her down largely because of the death of the latter's father and her husband to be Daniel Grayson. Margaux is furious that Daniel died saving Emily and she is looking to make it even between her and the show's main protagonist. Over at Victoria's side, she is tangling with Natalie (Gina Torres) who wants to strip her of he inheritance from his father-in-law Edward Conrad. Natalie, who later on revealed married Edward after serving as his nurse, plans to oust Victoria as queen of the Hamptons. Recent "Revenge" season 4 episode guide hints the showdown between these two will continue.
Returning character
Meanwhile, one character who has been gone for so long could return to the show. Christa B. Allen, who played Charlotte for all the four seasons, said there is a possibility that he will return. That is if "Revenge" will get renewed for a fifth season.
"I haven't heard anything," Allen told TV Line. "But I know that they're still waiting to hear on their next season pickup, so I think it'll depend largely on that. ... They do try to keep their options open on that show."
In one of her Twitter posts, Allen said Charlotte is gone for good. Charlotte left the Hamptons to undergo rehabilitation and nothing was heard from her since then.
The show will return next week for episode titled "Loss." Read the full "Revenge" season 4 episode guide here.
