The most recent episodes of ABC TV series "Revenge" saw Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) tangle with Natalie (Gina Torres) for the wealth of the Graysons. Torres came to the show a little late and it seems she is poised to become the main nemesis of Victoria for the rest of the season. It is not sure though whether their battle will involve guns and bombs just like what other previous villains brought. On the other side, Margaux LeMarchal (Karine Vanasse) is trying so hard to bring down Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp). She wants to avenge the death of Daniel Grayson, the father of her unborn child and Emily's ex husband. Based on recent "Revenge" season 4 episode guide, it seems Natalie and Margaux will continue to pest Victoria and Emily.
Both Natalie and Margaux prove to be formidable foes. However, they haven't done anything horrific to put them on the same level as the villains of the earlier seasons. In the fourth season, people thought Malcolm Black (Tommy Flanagan) will be the main big bad of the show. He did scary, ridiculous things to get to David Clarke (James Tupper), including killing a high ranking officer. Malcolm Black has been foreshadowed by the show before appearing in fourth season, making people think he is the biggest enemy Emily and her father will face. However, he was suddenly killed off before the lengthy break of the ABC TV series in January.
The Natalie-Victoria, Margaux-Emily wars will continue according to "Revenge" season 4 episode guide but watch out, a surprising return might happen in the show. In an interview with Buddy TV, James Tupper said the major villain killed off just recently may not be dead after all.
"Wait. Are you sure he's really dead? One thing you never have to worry about in Revenge is the presence of a villain," Tupper said when asked about Malcolm Black, if there's another guy that will take the mantle as the main nemesis of the protagonists.
Tupper also warned of twists and turns in the next "Revenge" season 4 episodes.
"The show's writers are very clever at winding unexpected plots. There's a whopper in episode 20. Even I couldn't believe it."
