Now that "Mortal Kombat X" PS4 and Xbox One release date is getting near, more and more characters are being revealed.
"Friday the 13th" main villain Jason Voorhees, the iconic masked killer in the hit 90s movie, has just been confirmed in the roster of the upcoming gaming title.
Engadget reported that the character who once haunted the viewers of "Friday the 13th" can now be downloaded via "The Kombat Pack" for $30 that also includes character skins, Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana.
Jason Voorhees can also be acquired on purchashing more DLC packs that include The Kollector's Edition for $150, the Limited Edition for $100 and Premium Edition priced at $90.
Nether Realm Studios introduced the new "Mortal Kombat X" character through the video, which can be seen below:
In addition to Jason Voorhees, Johnny Cage, a longtime resident character in "Mortal Kombat" franchise has also been confirmed to join the roster.
According to Polygon, Nether Realm Studios senior producer Adam Urbano has confirmed the news.
Not only will gamers see and use Johnny Cage, his daughter Cassie is reportedly going to be available in "Mortal Kombat X," as part of its main characters.
"You'll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we're also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny," Urbano said. "You'll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more."

Kenshi, who first appeared in the mobile version of the game will also be in "Mortal Kombat X" PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions.
IGN previously reported that Kenshi is only available as a playable character in the mobile app, however that was before Nether Realm has confirmed that the new character will be included in the PS4, PS3 and Xbox One console versions.
a "Possessed Kenshi" was released in the said mobile game, where the game possible revealed one of his three reported fighting skills that gamers could choose.
Game Stop confirmed that "Mortal Kombat X" PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC versions will hit the shelves on April 4.
