It's no secret that a major part of Erica Mena's popularity should be credited to her VH1 reality show's "Love & Hip Hop New York."
And while she didn't deny such claims, word has is it that she left the show following a series of altercation with her ex-partner and co-star Cyn Santana.
Mena's fiance, Shad "Bow Wow" Moss, whom she got engaged to in September, has personally confirmed to Access Hollywood Life that his soon to be wife has indeed quit the show.
While many are speculating that Erica Mena's decision to leave "Love & Hip Hop New York" was because of her past relationship with Cyn Santana, the famous rapper and now star of "CSI: Cyber" claimed that his fiancee wants to focus on him and her new endeavor.
"Now she's done she's out here full time now," Bow Wow revealed. "She has some great things coming as well. She has HER, her clothing line she's running."
"She's branching that out. She's doing a lot of big things too and she's looking forward to the move. She's actually on the plane on her way here right now."
"Love & Hip Hop New York" creator Mona Scott-Young however, has yet to comment on the issue involving Mena's supposed exit.
Nevertheless a new report came hinting that Mena has indeed left the show when she failed to show up in the taping, reportedly because she wants all the drama between her and Cyn Santana to just end.
"A lot of people cast this season were cast because of beef with her," an insider told Bossip. "Erica was pretty much sick of the deflecting and the projecting of off other people's negativity."
While her altercation with Cyn Santana has yet to end, other "Love & Hip Hop New York" cast namely Chrissy and Jhonni Blaze reportedly have a beef with Mena as well.
"She's about to be somebody's wife and she didn't want to put herself in the type of space where that could happen," the insider added. "She didn't want to put herself in a place where she has to act negative. She's in a different place now."
While she failed to confirm it Cyn Santana has kind of hinted the public that she had suspected her former love and "Love & Hip Hop New York" co-star of cheating on her with Bow Wow during an interview with VH1.
"I don't know where her now fiancé came in the picture. I wish I knew," she said of Erica Mena - Bow Wow engagement. "From my understanding they were always friends. That was a bit of a shock to me as well because this is someone you told me not to worry about and now you're engaged to him."
