Fans don't have to wait for the “Orphan Black” season 3 premiere to see the male clones together in one scene or picture.
People Magazine had an exclusive first look at the new set of clones from Project Castor as well as the returning seestrahs (all played by Tatiana Maslany) made by Project Leda.
In previous interviews, Ari Millen said the male ones are like brothers and have great bond. However, there's no footage yet featuring them standing close to each other.
So far, the known male clones are Rudy a.k.a. Scarface, Mark, the Prolethean undercover, Miller the military guy and Seth, the one with a mustache.
It is not clear yet whether all these four will appear in the “Orphan Black” season 3 premiere episode but show's co-creator Graeme Manson shared exclusive details to People regarding this new compelling characters.
"This journey of discovering who Castor is, what they're up to and how they apply to us is really a season-long trip that we're taking,” Manson said.
As to what fans can expect from them in the “Orphan Black” season 3 premiere and how much of a threat they are to their female counterparts, Manson has this to say.
"Were raised like a little wolf pack in a military-type setting," Manson said. "They're self-aware and aware of each other and aware that they're multiples and different and special and that they have their own purpose. ... The differences in how they relate to each other is one of the coolest things about it."
In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ari Millen discussed the differences between the first two known male clones, Rudy and Mark.
“His (Rudy) personality is very large, that’s for sure. Where Mark seems a bit more reserved at times, Rudy loves to play the alpha. He loves to peacock. He loves to get under people’s skin and that is his M.O. for much of the season, that’s for sure,” Millen said.
“Orphan Black” season 3 premiere is on April 18 and will be broadcast live on BBC America, AMC, SundanceTV, IFC and We TV.
